DisclaimerI am a average, food obsessed home cook that loves to eat but *tries* to have a varied and mostly healthy diet. I am not a professional. I am not giving any advice. This blog is meant to share and chronicle my food and fitness life. If you find inspiration in it then I am very happy. I’m not endorsed by any person or company, and nor do I endorse any person or company. It’s always a good idea to check with your doctor before you start any diet.
Basic info about the 5:2 Diet
- With the 5:2 diet, you can eat whatever you like five days a week — so-called feeding days. On the two “fasting days” you eat 500 calories if you are a woman, or 600 calories if you are a man.
- Space you fasting days out on two non-consecutive days.
- On fasting days, you can have your 500 (women) or 600 (men) calories all in one meal or spread over (toast! hahah no I'm just kidding) several meals
- On feeding days, you should stay to your typical diet or eat what you feel like
